From the 21th of April till the 28th of April, The VI International Festival of Truthful Cinema (hereinafter referred to as the Festival) will be held in Moscow and various regions of the Russian Federation. The main venue is the Victory Museum. At the same time, more than a thousand venues in regions of the Russian Federation will join the festival. These are participants of the international project "Territory of Victory", the Association of Historical and Military-Historical Museums, the School Victory Museum project, screenings were held in All-Russian Children's Centers and cinemas.

The competition films will be evaluated by an International Expert Jury.

The International Festival of Truthful Cinema serves as a creative platform for engaging with young people and the younger generation.

Tasks
Promoting traditional Russian cultural, moral, and family values within the media space
Developing effective and relevant methods to spark young people’s interest in domestic cinema
Creating opportunities for fostering civic engagement and cultural-moral foundations through cultural and educational activities
Raising public awareness of films that align with traditional Russian values and increasing recognition of the Festival among a broader audience
Purposes
Strengthening the prestige and popularization of auteur domestic cinema, promoting the development of its film distribution, as well as promoting traditional values among a wide audience through cinematography
History
of International Truthful Cinema Fest

The project has been running since 2022. In 2024, the Festival was granted international status, featuring a competition across 11 categories, with films evaluated by members of the international expert council from Russia, Kazakhstan, and the Republic of Belarus. Throughout the festival's duration, the Festival has screened approximately 221 films, attracting an audience of over 516,000 people across 77 regions of the Russian Federation.

Previous editions of the Festival have contributed to the promotion of truthful cinema and its filmmakers, giving them momentum to further develop their work and present their films at international festivals.
